Homemade Hot Fudge Sauce

This stuff is seriously the best. Once you whip up a batch and put it on your ice cream you will never buy Hershey's again.

  • 1 stick of butter
  • 8 oz. semisweet chocolate chips (3/4 of a bag)
  • 1 can evaporated milk
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Melt butter and chocolate chips over low heat.

Add milk and increase heat to medium.

Using whisk, add powdered sugar. Heat until a gentle boil is achieved, stirring frequently.

Remove from heat, add vanilla.
Will keep several weeks in the frig.
